U4GM ARC Raiders: How to Trade Powercells Wisely

Powercells have a weird place in ARC Raiders. They're not the thing you grab because they look deadly, and they're not the kind of loot that screams "keep me" from across the room. Still, once you've spent a bit of time poking around Nature zones, you'll realise these little seed-like items matter a lot. They tie into trading, progression, and the slow build toward better kit, much like ARC Raiders BluePrints do when you're trying to shape your loadout instead of just using whatever drops into your bag.

Why Powercells are worth keeping

The main reason players care about ARC Powercells is Celeste. She treats them like a trade resource, and that makes them more useful than they first appear. You won't be slotting them into a weapon mid-fight or throwing them at a Raider to save your skin. Their value comes later, back at the right vendor, when you're looking at something better than the usual scraps. That could mean gear, upgrade materials, or other useful items that push your build forward. It's easy to spend them too fast, though. A lot of players do that early on, then wish they'd waited for a better offer.

Where players usually find them

If you're hunting Powercells, head into the greener parts of the map. Nature regions are the places to watch. Look near overgrown paths, tucked-away corners, broken containers, and spots that seem just a little too quiet. ARC Raiders likes to hide useful things where you'd only check if you weren't rushing. Some enemies in these areas may also drop them, so don't ignore fights that look small. They might pay off. Quests connected to Celeste can also lead you toward Powercells, which is handy if random searching isn't your style.

How to trade without wasting them

The smart move is to treat Powercells like something limited, even when you've had a good run and your stash looks healthy. Celeste's stock can make you impatient, especially when there's a weapon part or rare material sitting there. Before trading, ask yourself what's actually slowing you down. Is your damage weak? Is your armour falling behind? Are you missing materials for a build you already know you want? If the answer is clear, spend. If not, hold. There's no shame in walking away and coming back later with a better plan.

Getting more out of every run

A good Powercell run isn't just about grabbing one item and leaving. Clear your route, check side paths, and don't sprint past resource points unless the situation is getting ugly. Bring enough supplies to stay out longer, because the best finds often come after the first obvious loot spots are empty. Coins still matter for basic purchases, but Powercells fill a different role: they help you reach the items that feel more selective. If you're short on time or want to support a specific build, some players also choose to buy ARC Raiders Items as part of their wider gearing plan, then use collected Powercells more carefully in trades with Celeste.
