U4N Covers ARC Raiders Performance, UI, and Gameplay Improvements

ARC Raiders is continuing its steady refinement with an update that addresses a wide variety of gameplay and technical concerns. The latest patch improves how Snitch Scanners behave, makes moving-surface landings more natural, expands quick item binding options, stabilizes the Aphelion, changes Expedition quest handling, and fixes an unusual Matriarch stomp issue. It also resolves crashes, improves squad matchmaking reliability, upgrades the game's Unreal Engine version, and provides clearer interface messages. These changes can make a noticeable difference for players who spend many hours in raids and depend on predictable systems. As players prepare their inventories and equipment, ARC Raiders Coins may also be considered alongside other resources when planning longer-term progression and collection goals.

ARC Systems Receive Useful Corrections

The Snitch Scanner adjustment changes the way these devices spawn ARC. They will now follow behavior more similar to the regular Snitch, but with a reduced chance of spawning stronger ARC. This should provide a more consistent gameplay pattern while retaining enough randomness to keep encounters interesting. The update also fixes ARC Turbine mines so they can be pinged. That correction improves communication during squad play, especially when teammates need to identify dangerous areas quickly. A functional ping system can be important when players are moving through unfamiliar spaces or trying to avoid unnecessary encounters. Together, these fixes make ARC-related interactions easier to understand and communicate without removing the uncertainty that contributes to the game's atmosphere.

Movement and Inventory Controls Improve

The latest gameplay adjustments also focus on movement and quick item handling. Raiders who land on moving surfaces will now follow the surface after landing rather than behaving as though they are still in the air. This should create a smoother interaction with moving objects and reduce strange movement behavior. Players can also customize quick item cycling separately from the quick-use wheel. Cycling can be assigned to another key, disabled, or placed on the same key as the wheel. This change is intended to stop unintended item swaps after the wheel is closed, giving players greater control over how quick item functions behave. The Aphelion has also received reduced weapon sway, which should make aiming more stable and improve comfort during precision-focused encounters.

Quest and Matriarch Changes

Expedition management is more flexible after this update. Players are no longer forced to reset their quests when starting an Expedition. Instead, they can choose whether to reset them when departing. This makes it easier to preserve objectives that still matter and allows players to make progression decisions based on their own priorities. The Matriarch has also received a significant combat fix. Its stomp could previously damage Raiders through tall cover or while they were standing on top of the Matriarch, producing situations that felt inconsistent with normal positioning. The fix removes those problematic interactions and should make the encounter easier to read. Players can now approach defensive positioning with greater confidence instead of worrying about unexpected stomp damage.

Reliability Gets a Major Boost

Several stability issues have been addressed across platforms and squad functionality. A PS5 crash that could happen shortly after starting a session has been fixed, as has a separate crash linked to rapidly pressing certain keys. Another important fix concerns squads becoming stuck after a player signed out and then rejoined. Previously, this could prevent ready-up and stop matchmaking from beginning. Resolving this issue should make group sessions more reliable and reduce interruptions caused by account or connection changes. The update also upgrades Unreal Engine from 5.3 to 5.7. This is a major technical change that gives the development team access to a newer engine foundation and may help support future performance, stability, and content improvements.

Better Feedback Across the Interface

The UI has received several improvements designed to make information easier to understand. Loadout weight now updates directly when players drop portions of a stack, while selected Skill Tree nodes have received visual refinements. Distance-based map markers have also been corrected so they display more reliably. Inventory feedback is clearer as well, because the pickup prompt now says “loadout full” when there is no room for another item. Matchmaking errors provide more detailed explanations when a player goes offline while queuing or when crossplay settings are incompatible. Players considering ARC Raiders Items for sale may therefore find it easier to compare their available resources with current loadout limitations and progression needs. Overall, the update improves both the visible and underlying systems of ARC Raiders, making everyday raids more stable, understandable, and comfortable for players.
